8/18/2005 - Johnny Depp meets with Haylar Garcia. Denver filmmaker Haylar Garcia of Tao Engine Philms has been making a documentary for the past 11 months about his attempt to get a screenplay (and a special custom made electric guitar!) into the hands of Johnny Depp. Haylar met with Johnny in Aspen. 8/2/2005 - Actors Alliance film wins Audience Choice Award. Actors Alliance entered the internationally-acclaimed filmmaking competition, the 48 Hour Film Project, and garnered the Audience Choice Award at the sold-out Starz Filmcenter in Denver, CO. The competition took place 7/29/2005 - 7/31/2005. The psychological horror film "Confined", directed by Jason Coviello and starring Jeff Nicholson, is currently being re-edited for release to film festivals. Kathi Maas was on the writing team, Brian Landis Folkins acted as Line Producer, Chris Anne Mullin and LeighAnn Gould were PA's.

5/30/05 - Ryan Parker & Jason Coviello just wrapped on the feature film, The Goal. Ryan stars as Steve George, an Olympic athlete who becomes paralyzed. He now faces the challenge of living life as a quadripalegic. He struggles to find meaning and a sense of worth in his new life. Eventually, he is lead to guad rugby, and he begins to live again.
Jason plays Brad, a veteran to the quad rugby experience. He acts as a positive role model and friend for Steve and the other players.
